Celebrity Creates Caribbean Food Themes

Celebrity Cruises booked acclaimed guest chefs to appear on eight Caribbean-themed food and wine sailings in a partnership with Bon Appétit magazine. Constellation’s ‘Savor the Caribbean’ cruises depart Saturdays from San Juan, February to March.

Each cruise will include a Bacardi sail-away party, daily culinary activities, a demonstration by the featured chef, a Caribbean-themed deck party, and private rum tastings and suggested wine pairings led by noted spirits authorities.

Celebrity and Bon Appétit also created shore excursions exclusive to the Savor the Caribbean series, which may be purchased in advance on line. They include a private cooking class in the Dominican Republic and a private visit to Antigua's Harmony Hall Inn with its owners. The guest chefs range from Michelle Bernstein of Azul restaurant in Miami's Mandarin Oriental to Caribbean cookbook author Jessica Harris
